Data System Analyst

Location: Columbia, MD 21046
Work Status: Full-Time
Salary: Commensurate with experience

Job Description:
Candidate required to have three (3) or more years of working experience in the following areas:
• Analyzing hardware and software developments and enhancements.
• Analyzing and documenting software design solutions in response to functional requirements for new software and/or modification or enhancement of existing software.
• Testing and integrating code resulting from software designs.
• Coding updates that alter software design in response to changes in functional requirements for the system to include test and integration of these changes.
• Providing software configuration management and maintenance.
• Converting and/or modifying software from one machine or language to another.
• Installing and testing software releases.
• Preparing all documentation in accordance with customer standards.
• Preparing the documentation as required to support the software Configuration Management Plan being employed by the specific technical organization the contractor is assigned to.
• Maintaining installed systems on a daily basis in a fully operational mode.
• Analyzing system failures and resultant core data.


Job Requirements:
U. S. Citizenship is required. A TS/SCI clearance is required.
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years related experience, or High School Diploma and 9 years experience, or Associates Degree and 7 years related experience, or Master’s Degree and 3 years related experience, or Doctorate and 1 year related experience.
