IA Systems Engineer Lead

Location: Columbia, MD 21046

Job Description:
Develops requirements from a project's inception to its conclusion for a particular IT subject matter area (i.e., simple to complex systems). Assists other project members with analysis and evaluation and with the preparation of recommendations for system improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts in the following specialties: information systems architecture; networking; telecommunications; automation; communications protocols; risk management/electronic analysis; software; life-cycle management; software development methodologies; and modeling and simulation.

The candidate will support one or more of three tasks: the Security Management Development task; the Secure Boundary Development task, and/or the Secure Access Development task.

The candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced in a wide variety of security engineering development techniques and required to support all documentation efforts. Must have experience in project development, security protocols, network protocols, and security standards and public key cryptography. Must be knowledgeable in boundary security controls, configuration control and configuration management. Must be knowledgeable in current solutions deployed within the customer’s organization. Requires a CISSP certification.

Candidate will work with MS Project, assist in the development of requirements and lead in the completion of the NISCAP for each project.

Job Requirements:
U. S. Citizenship is required.   A TS/SCI clearance is required.
Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years related experience, or High School Diploma and 9 years experience, or Associates Degree and 7 years related experience, or Master’s Degree and 3 years related experience, or Doctorate and 1 year related experience.
