Senior Computer Scientist
Location: Columbia, MD

Job Description:
Specific hands on knowledge of digital signal processing software components and post-demod
processing and requirements as well as a variety of test/debug tools and methods at all levels
of the post-demod system. Specific hands on knowledge of modern high-level languages, operating
systems ad technologies such as PERL, JAVA, HTML, and experienced in Linux and Linux/POSIX threads.
General knowledge of programming and analysis techniques with knowledge of UNIX, NT, C++, and Java
on a variety of hardware platforms including SUN and standard NT platforms. Knowledge of software
development lifecycle, demonstrated project management and leadership skills, strong communications
and organizational skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as an individual contributor
and in a team setting working in a multi-tasking environment.
Job Requirements:
U. S. Citizenship is required. A minimum of 15 years experience as a Computer Scientist, with a
solid understanding of digital signal processing systems and applications including data flow,
command and control, and an understanding of interfacing processing systems with follow-on processes
and applications. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or the equivalent in
Engineering or Information Systems.
