Program Manager

Location: Columbia, MD 21046

Job Description:
The Program Manager will manage a major program involving multiple projects/task orders and personnel at various locations and in various disciplines that provides support to the Federal Government. The PM's responsibilities include organizing, directing, and coordinating the planning and execution of all program and technical support activities. The PM will direct and manage the various task orders awarded under the program through Task Leads. Will assist Task Leads in developing program documentation, creating program schedules, tracking program status, evaluating operational and technical alternatives, performing risk assessment and managing integrated product teams.
Will meet and confer with government management officials regarding the status of each task on the contract to include ensure proper resolution of any issues.
Must have demonstrated expertise and communication skills to be able to interface with all levels of management. Must have a demonstrated ability to successfully work with multiple teammates.
• Act as focal point for inter-project coordination for designated projects.
• Manage and mentor Task Lead
• Provide continuous communication of project status, risks, and issues with the customer, Vice President, and Team Leaders.
• Must interact with customers and provide customer relationship management
• Identify new opportunities and research leads in current program domain
• Responsible for acquiring follow-on business associated with assigned programs and for supporting new business development by leading proposals for new task orders
• Act as a corporate advocate to employees, customers, partners and competitors
Job Requirements:
Candidates must have an active TS/SCI clearance and a current polygraph. Requires bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 15 to 18 years of related (intelligence environment) experience. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience managing programs for the federal customer. PMP certification is
