Linguist/Analyst
Location: Columbia, MD

Job Description:
Candidates require experience in language translation, transcription,
reporting, and analysis of materials used to produce time sensitive
information. Candidates must be familiar with the various reporting
criteria and priorities used to facilitate information to consumers.
Must have demonstrated experience and proficiency in Signals Intelligence
(SIGINT) or Information Assurance (IA) analysis. The principal
responsibility of the expert linguist is to annotate media for technologies
that process spoken language. Primary needs are for voice analysis experience,
linguistic capabilities, and computer skills (Sun/UNIX familiarity) to enable
use of Government provided software tools.
Job Requirements:
U. S. Citizenship is required. Candidates must have a Near-Native or
Native Language proficiency. Candidates must have a degree in a
related field or equivalent work experience. A Secret, Top Secret, o
r TS/SCI clearance is required.
