System Administrator
Location: Columbia, MD 21046
Work Status: Full-Time

Job Description:
Candidates must have experience with either UNIX and/or NT platforms to include LAN/WAN administration. Must be able to install, configure, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco Routers, and PIXes. Experience with Cisco Intrusion Prevention, Intrusion Detection System, Cisco Security Manager, and Cisco VPN Concentrator.
Experience with Cisco Switches preferred. Must be able to configure system hardware and software installations; updating and correcting network domain infrastructure; complete Remedy service tickets; Train customers and SA’s; support Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP Security configuration; develop, manage, and schedule appropriate backup strategies; configure applications software to meet the customer requirements; set up, monitor, and analyze traffic via Syslog Daemon. Administer user accounts and permissions; Recovery of applications and data.
Job Requirements:
U. S. Citizenship is required. Candidates must have at least 2 years experience in System Administration. BS/BA in Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience. Preferred MCSE certification (w/ Windows update). Must have an active TS/SCI clearance and current polygraph.
