On January 11, 2005, LinguaLISTek hosted an 8(a) Meet and Greet Breakfast
for small businesses as part of a series of sessions that target the various
small business socio-economic categories. Specifically, we were chosen
because of the tremendous growth and success LinguaLISTek has seen over the
past several years. We are considered a leader within our industry.
The breakfast was attended by 23 representatives from other 8(a)
businesses in the area. Special guest speakers discussed various avenues
small organizations can take to acquire new business. This was also a time
for small businesses to network with and learn from each other, and it was
great exposure for LinguaLISTek.
We plan to host similar events in the near future in efforts to support
other small businesses in our community.
